Photog-on-Photog night action Japan
Hello internet people.
I haven't snagged a copy yet, but in Issue 3 of Australian Snowboarder magazine there are a few photos from back in January when Liam Kaska and I were riding the best snow of our lives. Liam was kind enough to hike around for me while I tried out this lighting idea. Colour gels aren't anything new in snowboard photography, but they're not often used in freeriding scenarios, and I don't recall having seen them used shooting powder turns. Some might say that the colour is just tricky shit used to make a weak photo more interesting. In response to this, check out the two shots that are now devoid of all colour and tell me you don't want to swap places with el Kaska 'cause it looks boring. Thanks for looking.
